I think if anybody puts enough time and plenty of research into the yorkie, that they also can decide on what is standard and what is not.
Ok think about it this way...wouldn't it be fair to say that actually going to shows and watching what's out there, getting to know the show breeders/exhibitors and seeing what's being shown and what should be bred and not be bred because TRUST ME there are some dogs in the ring that shouldn't be there and are bred....so, looking at it from a show breeders experience go to shows see what best fits the standard and talk with those breeders...to me that's one sure fire way of learning the right way whether you show or not
