I think you just got a hold of someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. I've shopped Neiman's for many years, and the only thing they will not take back is Louis Vuitton. They are very clear on that policy since LV will not allow a store to carry their items unless they enforce their no return policy. I've returned Manolo's to Nordstroms so I don't think Manolo has this policy. Maybe try talking to someone else.
