No matter what you give or do for your little boy, he's still going to like being with one or the other of you. Maybe your boyfriend has a calmer side that he is more comfortable with. My Zada is a daddy's girl even though he doesn't feed them, train them, brush them and so on. Some personalities just seem to click better together. I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure he loves you very much regardless.
