 Yelps when she barks
I have had my 5 year old Yorkie to the vet the last 2 days. She acts fine, eats, drinks and goes to the bathroom . She has started yelping when she barks then gets real restless and acts like she can't get comfortable. This lasts about 5 minutes, then she is up and running like nothing happened. The vet the first day did blood work and xrays and found nothing. He gave us liquid pain meds (NSAID). The next day I had to take her back because the UPS rang the door bell and Sami went into a barking rage and then started yelping. After 5-10 minutes she is fine. By the time we take her to the vet again, she has no signs of anything. This time he said maybe she has a sore throat and gave us Amoxicillin to give her. We are trying to keep her from barking, but that is next to impossible. Has anyone else had this problem and can you help? |
