Hi Pixie has been very healthy just one incident when she got into a silca gel pack. Dixie's condition is something you can't prevent, It is like a baby having a birth defect like a hole in their heart. I do think anyone breeding for over 30 years will run into health issues, it's how they handle them that makes them a good or bad breeder. I will reserve my opinion of the breeder until I see how she responds to this situation. But thanks for your concern, the last thing I want is anothe sick puppy. Cali ws from a different breeder and very sick as a puppy and I would never get another from her.
