Here in TX we have the strangest weather...it was 80 degrees here just a couple weeks ago and right now it's 30-something...temp goes up and down like you wouldn't believe. So even animals that naturally don't breed during certain seasons, sometimes breed out of season in wierd climates like these. We have osterichs at our wildlife center here that normally breed & lay eggs during late spring, early summer, but they've been known to lay eggs in the fall & winter here.
And I think natural seasonal breeding may only apply to some outdoor animals. I know of cat breeders whose cats will breed all year around. My two cats both have birthdays in November.
Spring/Summer is the natural "kitten season" though as that's when you'll find shelters overflooded with them
