 Alex is having problems
I have a question. Alex (4 years old) has begun to have some breathing problems. We took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with "narrowing of the trachea". The narrowing is in the lower part of the trachea. We were told to put him on a diet (he has gained some weight during the past year) he currently weighs 6 pounds (1 1/2 - 2 pound increase). The vet also prescribed medication to be given if he has future episodes of labored breathing. Does any one have experience with this type of problem, and if so, any suggestions would be appreciated.
