When I only had 2 dogs, the older one would hurry through her food while guarding the younger one's bowl also. I ended up just feeding one at a time - the alpha female first - and then removed her from the room and let the other one eat. Funny, now that I have 3, everyone can eat in the same room at the same time without problem
