i have an older rottie shes about 12 1/2 even when i get mad at her she looks at me like well im sorry are you over it now can you come pet me now she mostly lays around now and i know it will not be long.
i also work at the local vet this older grey haird couple came in their german shepard who was about 12 was out going to the bathroom he just collapsed and couldnt get up messed all over himself was disoriented breathing hard and not focusing he had a heart attack or a stroke and didnt seem to be recovering he was put down they were very upset its really hard to see someone get upset over something that happens to a pet like that a try to keep things together yourself and wondering what it will be like when its your time to deal with something like that.
