Tapeworms can go in cycles, so even if you get rid of these, they may come back. Mine all go thru them twice a year. You can get over the counter treatments. Just make sure they say for tapeworms. I get mine at a farm supply store. I can get the dogs in a powder that goes on their food. Of course, the cats only comes in a pill form and we all know how easy it is to get a cat to take a pill
