I'm not sure about yorkies having twins.

However, we used to raise goats. Boers, specifically. It was very common for them to have twins, triplets and even quads. At one point we had over 100 goats on our farm. It was insane during kidding season. I spent many, many nights in the barn huddled under a heat lamp, lol. We had 4 sets of quads during our last kidding, 2 sets of triplets and the rest all had twins. Not one singleton birth. It really was amazing.
