Mother's pudding recipe is really good for this. Lots of calcium and milk. You can find the recipe in a search. I also give my moms a small bowl of milk, cottage cheese etc in addition to aid in milk supply if one is low. I also recommend red raspberry leaves and Fenugreek.

I just have to wonder why your vet wasnt prepared for this possibility
then maybe you wouldnt have this worry now.
I always like to be ready...If meds not needed ,great!!!
But if it is, then I have them on hand with instructions from my vet
