I have friends that have a white scottie - Maggie - and she is a riot. Very smart, too. Potty trained in no time. She walks at least twice a day and has a tether in the back yard because of where they live. And, like yorkies, it is all about her . An addition to the family is not a replacement, it is a tremendous help with coping with the grief. It's a hard decision, but your heart will tell you what to do and when to do it.
