Its hard to leave them alone, but its something that must be done to prevent bad behavior in the future. And believe me, you dont want a pup that whines and cries everytime you leave her. That can cause an issue for you and those that may live around you.
I use to leave the TV on for Meka when she was that age. Lots of toys and water available to her. There's a little stuffed animal that has a heartbeat.. I always wanted to get one because they say that helps them not feel so alone... Hope this helps...
