Hi,sorry to hear your baby is sick cause just recently our Spanky was sick and the vet gave him a pill to take twice a day and I almost went nuts.He was totally different acting & also the excessive thirst and excessive urinating and alot of it when he did,he got to where he started this shake like tremor constantly.I was about to loose my mind I couldnt figure out why he was behaving in such a way.I did a lil research on the med & it had a steroid in it.I gave the pills to him for the length of time the website stated to use it instead of how long the vet had told me (until they were all gone)which was a couple of days sooner.After it was out of his system (a day or two)he was back to the Spanky doodle than I knew.Long story I know ,but to sum it up do a lil research on the med and go with your gut instinct(it's usually right you know) hope this helps.
