 Thank you, Thank You, Thank You!!
Thank everybody for all the wonderful information. I do have a vet appointment today at 2:00. I just couldn't sleep last night when I posted the message because I was soo worried about them. The puppies actually look pretty good. They are active and spunky. They aren't crying. But it is day 4 and they have only gained an ounce. I have been giving Honey cottage cheese everyday- I will definitely ask the vet about metoclopramide. I am not very happy with the vet not telling me that if she was spayed that she would lose her milk!! Why wouldn't he have known this and warned me?!? I continue to TRY to supplement the puppies with puppy formula- but they won't have anything to do with it. The nipple I have on this bottle is hard and crappy- I will check out that website on nursing supplies and see if I can find something closer to the real thing for them. I will keep everyone posted on their progress. By the way- there are 2 girls and 1 boy. Is there anything out there more adorable than a yorkie puppy?!?? I don't think so!! Thank you again! |
