 Please help!
This is my first posting on here... I don't know where else to go. My dog "Honey" had to have an emergency C-section on Friday. She had 3 pups. The vet spayed her during the c-section. Now, she does not have any milk! The pups all weighed 6 oz at birth- and now it is day 4 and they have only gained about 1 oz each!! I can not get them to take milk out of a little bottle, and when I use a syringe- they gag and choke. Meanwhile, they continue to try to nurse, and poor Honey has bruised nipples from all the suckling! Is there something I can do to help her milk come back in? If you have any suggestions, please let me know. |
