Welcome to Yt, don't have a male dog so no help there. But I can tell you my Zoie will go 2 times before she comes in the house she gets to excited and wants to come back in the house, instead of doing it all outside. Usually if they are marking it will be a stream. Or it is with out big dog. I know yorkies are different. Someone will answer you here.
