Jacoby eats Wellness puppy wet food. He seems to enjoy it. He hates wearing a collar or harness and does not like walks at all. Any advice on getting him to walk on a leash?? He is pee pee pad trained already. We just taught him to sit and lay down, and he caught on pretty quick!! |
My lily hated the harness as well. What I did was for a week I would give her a treat every time I put on her harness once a day for like 15 min and for that 15 min we would play so that she did not have time to think about having the harness on. The next week I did the same but I put a short leash on the harness and the last we we worked on walking on the leash. I would put on harness and leash and in the beginning i would make sure she did not have much tension on the leash so she would not get scared due to the resistance now even though she does not go out side I put her leash on her once a week so she does not forget. She loves the treat part.
