If you look at the thread linked to the first page you can see that there is a big difference between smoking and allergies. Smoking causes LUNG CANCER - one of the highest causes of death in the US. Most people do not die because of allergies to a dog...I've never heard of anyone going into anaphylactic shock because of a dog allergy. Most people with allergies may get cold-like symptoms...they may become very uncomfortable...but they usually don't die from them. Smoking is very different...it causes an enormous amount of deaths each year. No way you can compare the two.
