We have both our furbaby and our kitty on VIP insurance. So far we are pretty happy with it. They are prompt about sending a check to cover the portion of their costs especially if you fax the bill over. You do have to pay first and get reimbursed after. I'm on their standard plan and it costs $9.99 per animal per month. So on that plan they cover about 50% of treatment costs and they cover shots and fecal tests for annual exams. On their premium plan, which costs a bit more, you get better coverage on everything. It is soooo worth it when there is some major illness that costs hundreds or thousands though. We did it after our kitty racked up a $400 bill for a swollen paw. |
