This is the sweater I made for Purl to fly home in- Miami to Buffalo is quite a shock! Its still too big on her, but I think it is too cute!
I hand-dyed the yarn and it is a superwash wool, like you use to knit socks. Her big sis Lacey has a cashmere version (which is washable believe it or not) but I thought that was a wee bit grand for the little one!
