I always try to have mine used to sleeping alone by 10 weeks at least once or twice a week...that way when they leave they are used to being alone if the owner perfers them to sleep in a pen, not the bed... I line up pens and they each had a place of their own...plus, they would spend about an hour of time during the day there, learning to be an "only" ...and I place each pup in a carrier for at least 15 minutes per day..if they go to a home with another Yorkie, they can forget my training, but if not they have a smooth transition. |
