Isn't breeding fun!!!??? LOL Seriously, it is good to post these things so people get the full view. I think I have lasted so long is because I have always made an area for puppies and dogs separate from our sleeping area. It is hard to work all day with dogs and stay up all night as you are finding.
Do you have a area far from the bedrooms to fix for the pups....they do not need to live there, just sleep there. They will learn to soothe themselves very quickly when they wake up...and do not see your face after a few screams. I leave food at night from 6 weeks on...no mother with them, but in a pen next to them so she can lick faces and check them...by 6 weeks mine want spearate places to sleep also. |
