I take my Yorkies almost everywhere. My doctor has pictures of them in my medical file. My dentist takes his dog in to his office, so I figured mine could go in too. If I don't take them into the bank, or Joann's Fabrics, the employees want to know where they are. My Yorkies have friends everywhere.
My grandson is very allergic to my son's pitbull and Norwegian Elkhound, but my Yorkies don't affect his allergies at all.
I think the management of a store has the right to decide if they allow dogs or not and if I was told not to take them in, I wouldn't, but I might not go back there real soon.
I don't try to take them into stores that sell food. |
