I was diagnosed with IBS last year. Two big triggers for me: onions and granola bars of any type. My stomach actually swells and causes a lot of pain as well. My doctor put me on a Vit C regimen to test that out before I try any prescription meds. It has helped significantly; I just take 2-3,000 mg of Vit. C a day, and it helps me a lot!
I've never been pregnant so I can't offer any advice or share experiences there, but maybe you could check into the Vit. C thing with your doctor?
