Tiko's Recovery Thank you all for your replies and well wishes. We had the hardest night. I threw a nice thick quilt on the floor and kept my baby company all night, Tiko slept in short intervals I didn't get a wink of course. It was so sad he cried on and off and I could hear his stomach rumbling. I was supposed to wait until 9:00am to feed him and give him water but at 5:30 I said it's been long enough. My instructions were to begin normal diet. He loves fish and I had baked some for him already. I hand fed him to prevent him from eating too fast and he drank a lot of water. He then laid down and slept very soundly for a good while. I fed him a little more at 9:30a.m. and continued his regular eating schedule since. He is doing very well. He's a tough little guy. He's been playing with his toys. We usually play chasing each other around the house and he was calling to me to chase him but I don't want to let him run a lot. What I can't believe is that twice he tried to HUMP my arm. I thought those days were over. Although he didn't try as hard as he usually tries. I'm just glad my baby is back. He didn't spend the night at the vets, he went in at 9:00a.m. and was ready to come home by 2:00pm. If he would have spent the night I wouldn't have gone through the pain of seeing him starving but I wanted him home with me, I didn't want to leave him any longer than I absolutely had to.
Again thanks for all your well wishes,
