I have had a terrible time keeping diapers on my little four-pound rescue Chi, Kozanna, too. I have tried numerous things. The latest is cutting the toe off a sock and cutting front leg holes near the heel so the sock fits with the heel over the chest and the top around the neck. Then I used two pieces of ribbon and attached them with safety pins to the sock and to the diaper. I tried velcro and alligator clips, but they didn't stay attached. This has worked the last couple of days. It's comfortable and keeps the diaper on. Someone suggested preemie baby onesies, but I couldn't find any small enough. The preemie huggie diapers do fit, but slide right off. I tried to use just ribbon and tried two harnesses with no luck. Since Kozanna has no potty manners at all, diapers are a must if she is out of her crate. These tiny ones are very difficult! First pictures is of sock before cutting and after and second pic is the apparatus on Kozanna. Not gorgeous, but it works! I will probably refine it as time goes by, but for now, I'm happy.
