I say york-sherr terrier as I speak.. but if some one does not know what kind of dog and actually askes me I say yorkshire terrier..
Again we use yorkie all the time.. LOL
I would also like this see those UK people come here and tell us.. I am sure they use Yorkshire..Maybe not... ummmmmmmmmm
