it has mesh sides so ventilation is not a problem. I can't turn it upside down because the way it's made there would be an area between the top and the floor, maybe not big enough to get out, but he would probably try to dig out. Plywood makes me nervous, but that is a solution. Once i get the sheet rigged i will check for any possible places he could get his head stuck.
