I know...it's difficult! Hugs to you!

Simply put, yorkies can be hard to potty train. It takes them longer to "get it" sometimes than other dogs. My best advice to you is to stay consistent, be patient, and keep at it. Eventually, he will learn. You might try pee pads for awhlie, while your puppy is young. You can transition to outside after he gets the hang of it. They are supposed to be attracted to the pads, so that might help you get started. If he goes in the right spot, PRAISE PRAISE PRAISE and treat!

It also might help to get an x-pen to confine him to a small area with a potty pad, toys, and a bed when you can't watch him closely so you're not constantly cleaning up after him. Once he learns to potty in the right place, you can give him a little more room, working up to run of the house.

Just as he has rules, you should enforce the rules with your family-when the puppy's in the crate, only Mommy/Daddy can let him out.
