I am not really sure, but I don't think you are suppose to give them asprin, or baby asprin I think it has something to do with making the blood thinner. I had my Jack russel mix spayed about 8 years ago, and they didn't give her anything. They told me she really wouldn't need anything, just rest and watch about jumping off furniture. Someone else may be more helpful.....
