Yeah, the chicken is high in protein, and if all your Yorkie will eat is it, the try to find an alternate and bait with chicken, if you know what I mean.
This sounds very much like the problem that eventually became the demise of our Rusty this past October.
Our vet never did find a logical reason for the occurance, even after doing at one point an exploratory to look for a cancer type of problem.
Finally got to the point that Rusty would or could not even keep down water.
Our vet was partly of the opinion that it could have been associated with an immune problem.

If only one had the funds and resources to keep going one never knows if someone at the Guelph vet. college could have found the answer.
Its the old story, the only thing that beats cubic inches is cubic money, if you know what I mean.

Hope all works out, by the way Rusty was 11 years old when this developed.

May the Good Lord look out for all the Yorkies of the world.
