Biewers are so pretty but their personality (as I understand) is quite bit like Yorkies are. So, if you want a bit of a different personality, you may want to go with a different breed.
I have Yorkies and a Maltese. I have to say the Maltese is wonderful. She has been much easier to potty train than my Yorkies and seems more loving somehow. Not to say I don't love my Yorkies to death.
They are wonderful. The tear stains can be reduced quite a bit with different methods on the Maltese.
I love all the breeds you mentioned.
I don't know anything about the Parti's though.
