Good luck on your search in the greater NYC area. I've seen more than enough ads for "teacup" yorkies there, which makes me wonder if there are any reputable breeders around you. If you are open to a young adult female, try looking at rescues. At least this way you know what size she is full grown. Which is another reason why I didn't go the puppy route when I was looking for a sibling for Chip my 15lb. teapot, because exact size can't be predicted in a puppy. |
