Thanks, everybody! Moose hunting is hard work, so it's nice to be appreciated. And yes, Twala, I like the fierce description. Much better than cute or baby.
That sniffing picture was just hilarious. He was walking a few feet from where the moose had been lying. His head popped up, his neck stuck out, and he stood there sniffing for about 15 seconds. I was laughing out loud.
