We had to put down our 15 yr old Lab 2 years ago and I still tear up whenever I see another blk Lab. I have his collar, rawhide bone, picture and his ashes on my mantel next to my stepdad's. I hope your heart heals enough to let another baby in soon. There was such a big hole left when Lucky passed away, but Mia & Max have made their own space in there now. No one will ever take Lucky's place - but they can have their own
