Guess that is what would worry me the most if I raised puppies. Would I be able to trust my instincts when choosing a home for them. My hygienist told me that they thought they knew the people that they sold one of their puppies to. Come to find out the dog had been living in an outside kennel with a cement floor. The owner decided she no longer wanted the dog and called the hygienist. Of course, they took the dog back but it was skinny and as young as it is it has arthritis because of the cement kennel.
You should be proud of yourself for being so picky. Wish I was closer.
