I have done decopauge. It is very easy, however it takes tons of patience. Apply a coat, wait an eternity for it to dry, sand, apply another coat, over and over again. I am NOT a patient person as far as waiting for "paint" to dry. I always touch the "do not touch wet paint" just to check .
