Thanks. I also feed a kibble with glucosamine because my little 3.5 lb. senior rescue female has already had one knee surgery and another in the future. My 3 Yorkies all get 1/8 cup in A.M. and P.M. with veggies and a tiny bit of yoguart. They are maintaining but not losing.
The 1 yr. Yorkie gets a little food at bedtime because he dry heaves in the morning without it, but then he is not overweight. One lady told me that she is so picky about the amount of food she feeds her Yorkies that she counts each kibble. I'm not that much of a fanatic, but I do try to be aware that it is easy to heap.
