When the pup is born the decision is made that it is free to be bred. To me that is very irresponsible as some pups should not be bred and should just get to be pets. We as humans have the responsiblity of deciding what is best for the continuation of the breed and that takes alot of study. She refers to teacups, a person peeve as I don't think we should be trying to make yorkies into chihuahuas with coat. No where does she mention that her 8 week old darlings can't leave home until they are 12 weeks old. I'd do a bit of comparison shopping and check out YTCA's guidelines. You're bound to find you a winner.
I read somewhere that she got in trouble for her living environment for the pups also. This was after I got Riley. I didn't really start realizing some of her bad points till after. The only pictures I received of Riley before I got him were him sitting on a rusted cage. I didn't pay attention to the pictures then, but now that I go back and look there are some major problems. The picture I recieved of the parents was horrible. They were sweaty and dirty. In the background of Riley's pictures, there were these big rusted cages, I guess the same type that he was sitting on.

She didn't even send me Riley's shot records. She just wrote on a piece of paper his vaccinations. She told me that the vet vaccinated him and I found out today that she gave him the shots herself, which included a rabies shot at 12 weeks. GAH! Now that I think about all these, shes a terrible breeder. I doubt I'll go with her again. I'm glad I've learned alot since I got Riley.
