I dont know what I would do and quite frankly understand how you feel. I think your handling it the way I would have... I mean, she really wants all that not even considering that you now have a pregnant pup which is going to be lots of costs for vet visits and preperation... Some people

Also, I always put a diaper on Meka when she's in heat, expecially when going places. Maybe you can consider that as an option in the future
