I work for an attorney as well. She announced a little over a year ago that she was going to retire. She gave me 3 months in advance. I started crying!!! It was embarrassing... but i just love her and couldn't imagine working for anyone else.
I moved on to another office and was very unhappy. Then, about 6 months later i got a call from her asking me out to lunch. She announced that she was coming out of retirement and wanted me to work for again!! No questions asked, i said YESSS! Happy day! So now we're back.
Finding a good law office is hard. You want to make sure its a good fit. Good luck with your search!
