I'm in the same boat...

I was on my way home, about 8:30 p.m., 55 mph highway, no one on the road. Not paying attention... i come up to the one and only other car on the road. As soon as i get about 5 or 6 car lengths behind him he flips on his radar and the next think i know I'm pulled over. He clocked me at 75.... 20 MPH over the speed limit here in CA is considered reckless driving! No bueno.

He was nice enough to give me 2 mph off. GEEZ! I was so nice... i thought I'd get more of a break than that! But I'm sure the radar detector he saw that was still beeping uncontrollable did not help the situation! eeer.

I was told to show up to the court date and most likely the ticket will get reduced, if not dismissed. If not, I'll be stuck paying a ticket that's at least $300 I'm sure.
