Yes, sounds like luxating patella. If she got it from an injury, it will be more probmatic (sp?), anyway, you will have more problems. If she was born with it, it is considered Level 1 and you may never see problems with Level 1. The small breeds such as Toy Poodles, Chi's, Yorkies, and one other breed are very prone to it. Not all vets check for it when the original owner takes them for the check up. Hope all goes well for her and you!
