we did try the blanket over the kennel during the day the day after we got her cause we wanted her to sleep while we were gone. have to try it again.
I moved her kennel into my bedroom last night so she can see me at night, slept pretty well... some wimpers at the beginning, she did have an accident (#2). it seems to take her a long time to go potty after she eats (up to an hour).
i'm trying to have her in a pen during the day, she'll have more room and seems to like that better than being in the kennel. we're just trying the kennel at night now.
with the barking in the morning while i'm getting ready, she's doing better, i just say her name or say no and she quits complaining. I'm going to start trying the can once my bf leaves (he's going on a 7 month internship 5 hours away) as it might be easier to keep her on schedule.
