Again like I said it would depend on the couple/person inquiring about a puppy and the vibes you get....if the posion was the reason her dog died because left alone then I would have concerns as well but just to be a working couple to be the determining factor that wouldn't keep me from placing into that home. Again, also that's why I ask about a fenced in yard. But it all boils down to my guy instinct about those things. I however, will not change my mind on placing a yorkie with children under 8 UNLESS I have a larger yorkie that can handle a younger child. I would NEVER place a yorkie under 5 pounds with a home with children under 8 PERIOD!
