It sounds like she has abandoned her responsibility on taking any care of the pups, just like she abandoned the momma dog.
I surely would not be handing the babies back to her to sell.
I just keep thinking of that mother dog looking for something to drink, why else would she end up drown in a bucket.
Why was she let out alone, why was she bred, didn't you say she was only 3 lbs. Bless her little heart.
