Intubate just means that they put a tube in your dog's throat. It keeps the airway open and any vomit out of the lungs.
Bile acid tests have to be done several days before surgery because they should send the blood out. I prefer to do the CBC and blood panel as close as possible to the surgery (hopefully that morning). |
What's the CBC? The intubate thing is scary. Is there anything else I need to know, you seem to know a lot about this stuff.
