 Chunk's diagnosis
Today we took our Chunk to an Animal Eye Specialist and he informed us that Chunk had Retinal Degeneration at an advance stage. We are at a loss because our little guy is only 9 months old. I've already cried my eyes out and I know there will be more when the family gets home tonight. We know he can and will have a very loving and fulfilling life. We just have to make some adjustments and make his enviroment as safe as possible. He is so loving with his family, (humans and 3 canine siblings) and he gets so much love in return. We know that our little guy, (at 14lbs), is a gift from God and there must be some reason why He placed him with us. Please keep us and others who have and are experiencing similar situations in your prayers. You are all in ours.
